Guys & girls, what clothes are most flattering on a thin hourglass girl?

Recently I wore a dress that cinched at the waist, and was flowy at the bottom. I didn't think it looked nice on me in the photos. What are flattering clothes for that body type? u can put obvious answers, bc I feel like I do not know what looks flattering, thanks for the help
