What size breast collar?

Horse size is too big and just hangs on her. She's 820 pounds, 14.3 hands, arab. Her cinch is a 30 and its a bit too big too, I'm going to have to punch an extra hole on the strap on the right side. I have a compaq evo n1015v laptop. when i start it up, i see the opening with the word "COMPAQ". then, it brings me to a screen with options of how to start it, such as "safe mode", "safe mode with networking", "last known good configuration", "start normally", etc. i would click on one ( doesn't matter which ) and it would try to load, but then stop and start from the beginning again. kinda like a loop. so how do i fix it? im really desperate and would try anything. im so frustrated that im willing to throw it off the back of a truck and watch it smash to millions of peices!!

Trying to create a growth loop in java?

In java, I'm completing a class for a game that creates circles and makes them grow at a certain rate until they reach their maximum radius and pop, unless the user clicks on the circle to pop it themselves. the rest of the program is written, however the class i need to write is the one which creates the circles and defines the growth amount. I have gotten through creating circle based on given points and radii, with a grow method that states the current radius becomes the starting radius + growth amount. however, I can't figure out how to loop the circle back to the grow method IF the current radius hasn't reached its given pop radius. I was required to create a boolean method that answers the question "has the circle popped?". Do i need to create a loop within this method or declare it somewhere else? how do i return to the grow method if it hasn't popped? I'm not sure about the actual time increments, I can play with that after i get the program running, i just need to get the growth function working (i can start using an increment of 1000ms).

Help with my kin onem!!?

Building computer question help!?

So I just put together my gaming computer. Worked great started right up, then i set the bios to boot from cd. Restarted put in my windows 7 cd. Windows 7 started to load, got to 43% and did a restart loop. when restarting computer asked if i wanted to boot from harddrive or disk i let the timer run out so it would continue on. comp instantly turned off, attempted to re turn on like 2 times and now it will not turn on no matter what i do. onboard led light is on on the mo board and the lights are on on the graphics card. White gunk on my saddle?

It is either a type of mold that loves leather, or it is mildew from horse sweat. Being that you call it "gunk" it is probably mildew from sweat (the mold is more powdery in texture). The saddle soap & conditioner will be fine either way. Make sure you check any other leather equip stored in the same area because if it is mildew or mold it will continue to grow if you don't rid of it all. Waterproof your leather goods so after your next ride you simply rinse it off with the water-hose.

How can I get better at interviews?

I make eye contact, I have a firm handshake, I smile and am friendly to the person. It's a cinch for me before and after the question part. So I have heard 3, 4, 5, and 6 biking miles to 1 running mile. As of right now, I can't start running due to a still healing injury, however I can bike. The course I am currently using is 1.02 miles, and I just do that loop over and over. The elevation changes for this loop go as follows: from the start to .2 it is a slight downhill (1130 to 1120 ft). From .2 to .7 it is a gradual uphill (1120 to 1180ft). From .7 back to the start it is a downhill (1180 to 1130ft). Around how many biking miles on this course would be equal to 1 running mile? Also, which gear would be best (as in, should I go for more rpm, or more resistance but fewer rpm)?

Western Saddle does not have holes in the cinch strap...punching them in?

I just got this western saddle that is kinda old and hasn't been used in a while. I noticed that the leather cinch strap on the saddle (like I guess the part that the cinch would hook to) was probably I guess missing or broken at one time (the one on the left side) so the people must have replaced it with a nylon strap. But the nylon strap doesn't have holes in it. On the right side the cinch strap has holes in it and they are like 1-2 inches apart but I know the left side holes are usually spaced farther apart. So I was going to punch holes in it but I don't know how far apart to punch them. How far apart are the holes on the left side of the cinch strap (part cinch hooks to) on the western saddle???

Is MCAS Yuma Housing Nice?

My Husband has orders to Yuma MCAS, and we have already been assigned a house on base, but don't move in until July. Its a four bedroom town house in the Monegan Loop area. Is This poem Any Good?

I love it. The extensive use of imagery especially impresses me. The various sounds mentioned, screams, songs, cries, cracks, and wails are my favorite, but there's not any of that in the second stanza, so, if I were to suggest one thing, it would be to try to make the second stanza as pleasing to the minds eye, and the minds ear, as the first. The feel of the meter and rhythm really do feel like the old west though, I'm very impressed.

Nothing much really apart from keep trying! Add to your resume and send it off again and again. Loads of people want to be actors/singers... You actually need talent to get anywhere, it isn't a free ticket to fame and fortune. The popular agencies are inundated with young peoples resumes, so maybe start at the bottom and work your way up. Send resumes off to lesser known agents as well as popular ones. The more you send off, the more chances you get. You have to go out and find opportunities yourself as well, look on the Internet for auditions, apply to audition and do your best. If you are accepted, the chances are more well known actors/actresses and agents are there also. The best you can do is send loads of resumes out and get your name out there. Just try your best and persevere, itl pay off eventually :)

My student finance application ?

Hi im currently in my third year in university and im applying for student finance. Basically i come from Ireland (well pretty much right on the border to northern Ireland) and go to university in Belfast northern Ireland. I was born in England and lived there for a number of years till my family moved back home. I apply to student finance ni as there is a loop-hole that lets me apply as im a uk citizen. If not i would of had to go through there EU section. Both my parent work and live in the republic of Ireland. And there income is 32,000 euro. This is not bad but the cost of living in Ireland is ridiculously more than the UK. It really annoys me as i have been away from home for coming up to two years now and as my parents income is higher than the UK national average im penalized for this. Why is my English saddle still lose even if it feels so tight on my horse?

Hi I just got an english saddle and it fits me perfect I ride 2-3 different horses and it fits them well, but when It comes to the cinch its terrible. I can put the cinch on and it be tight and I can put 2 fingers in it to make sure Its not too tight. But then when I get on it slides down to the left. I dont know what I can to to make it not so slippery.

Moroccan & Canadian work visa?

My father has been living in Morocco with his wife for a few years. They have been trying to get her a Canadian visa to come here. She applied for a vistor's visa 3 times and was denied. Then my grandmother put an add for skilled foriegn worker on the job bank, and said she would hire her, or give her complete ownership of the business. The government of Canada approved her for a work visa, but the Canadian Embassy in Morocco didn't because they said there was no proof she would go back. She does have parents in Morocco, and she owned a cafe there but it's in the middle of shutting down right now. They were married in Ireland, so technically their marriage isn't legal or what not, so they didn't bother telling the Canadian government about it, as it would hurt her chances. Should she apply for a student visa? I think the work visa might be the best shot, but how do we prove she will go back to Morocco? Is there any loop holes or anything? Unfortunately they will not trade your iPhone because you manipulated the operating system of the device, and they can detect that a mile away. (See Error 1015 on the Apple website). Basically any jailbreaking of the newer operating systems almost always corrupts the device software itself, so you literally have to uninstall the software, then reinstall it. Mobo bios / video card issue?

Have a Geforce 9800 gtx vid card, often while im playing games the card should be able to handle things will freeze up and i get a nv4_infinite_loop or disp_driver blue screen, driver for the card is up to date. Why is my computer freezing while playing TF2 and full screen videos?

Sorry, I don't have all the specs of my computer. It is fairly new, a year or two old, with windows 7. I've ran 4 or 5 programs to scan for viruses, and to defrag the computer. since about a year ago every time I viewed a video (on youtube for example) in FULL SCREEN, my computer froze and went black, looping the last half second of audio over and over until I shut it off. This did not happen immediately, but after a seemingly random amount of time after going full screen. I just recently downloaded TF2 (Team Fortress 2) from Steam, and It has the same problem. After a seemingly random amount of time it freezes and loops audio etc. Ive even played it in windowed mode and it still does this. How to keep your horse calm while saddling?

I have two belgians and the larger of the two (Grace) doesn't like to be saddled. Its not impossible to saddle her or anything but she gets upset when I tighten the cinch and steps over to me. My laptop won't start!!!?

Okay, I don't know what I did, but my laptop WILL NOT start! I turn it on and it takes me to the screen where I put a password on my computer (the whole computer), like always, I type in the password and it goes to a black screen that says 'Windows StartUp Failed...' etc. I click on 'Start Windows Normally' and it loops back to the computer password screen. Can't you just groom her in her stall with a hay net , she will be relaxed then. Horses are fight or flight animals, in the cross ties they can't run if there's danger so they freak out.

Horse Saddling Question?

This is a weird occurrence that has happened a handful of times. What happens is when I do up my saddles cinch (western) sometimes on the loosest it can go, sometimes when I am tightening it, my horse leans back so her front legs are planted but she leans back like the opposite of when they get up. I thought it was just a weird coincidence but it happens more and more (but still only once even few months). She did something similar the other day when I was tightening it in the arena. She went down in the front on the front of her fetlocks kind of. After this happens I have to loosen the saddle and get her back up which I then reposition it and tighten it again. The thing is it was never out of place before (to my knowledge).

Windows 7 Startup Repair and Reinstalling?

So my brother's computer is stuck in that Windows Startup Repair Loop where keeps on saying checking/repairing problems and its been like that for a long time. Quality of music deteriorating?

I listen to a wide range of music from jazz to rap to good old rock n roll., I'm 23 and I definitely think that music is deteriorating simply because it has become more of a big bucks entertainment industry rather than about the art of making music. plus all this technology had changed the way music sounds. i prefer oldies stuff from the 80s or even the 70s. there are some good artists these days, but they are rare in my opinion.

Help, This horse has Narcolepsy!?

so i just started riding this horse for a friend. He is a real sweetheart. Big 17 hand gelding, mostly appy but i think he has some throughbred in him. We i was told before i started riding him that he has like narcolepsy, and today he showed it to me for the first time. I was saddling him in the cross ties and he was doing great. He started to look sleepy so i started pushing his head around and talking to him and then he went down. he laid on the floor for a few minutes - i quick released the cross ties - and let him lay, he then popped up...stood there for a moment, he swayed again so i loosed the saddle and then he was totally fine. got on him and rode him for about an hour and had no trouble - except for being a bit excitable - i dont know what to do with him. He always does it when being cinched. Anyone have any ideas as to what to do?! Im at a loss, but he is starting to scare the little kids that ride at the barn!

And a lot of the saddles on Ebay are brand new saddles by crap brands that typically fall apart. I have a Big Horn barrel saddle and love it, it's worth about a $1,000 though. I just got a new horse who I am schooling, but with one saddle it is getting difficult to take both to one race, especially since my new horse is so much bigger, so I have to change cinches as well. Pants shopping for difficult body type!?

I have an annoying body type that is very hard to shop for when trying to find pants. I'm not overweight or anything 5'4" and 135lbs and am athletic: competitive dance and cheer, running, weights, and such. Anyway I have very curvy thighs and a big butt, but a small waist. It's terrible trying to find pants that fit because they are all built for apple bodies but I'm a pear. Everything that fits on my thighs and butt is too big on my waist, and if it fits my waist, it's too small on the hips and butt. I end up just cinching my pants up with a belt so they stay up. Hi, ok I have been away for 2 wks. and had family taking care of my horses for me. Well when i came home my horses have been sick, there has been no new horses brought in. Well they have swollen abscessed lymph nodes, only 2 of them do the other one only have a cough when cinched up to ride, really confusing. the older one had a small cut on the side of her face i guess in the morning when they went up to feed her, then when they went up that night she had swollen abscessed lymph nodes that quick, and the other one had a bit of a runny nose and swollen abscessed glands he also had bug bites really bad under is chin. While i was away they tried to make things easier by hooking some kind of watering system and it runs from the pig pen watering tub onto the ground and down into the horse pasture. Was just wondering if that could have caused some sort of an infection with an already open wound. please no rude comments, i just would really like some help. Also i have 10 horses and those are the only 3 sick, the ones that have drank outta the water, the others are in seperate pastures, but nearby. thanks you...

So i just gonna jump right into it. I've been seeing this girl for about a year at this point. Ipod touch won't go out of recovery mode/error 6 won't go away?

Earlier today I picked up my ipod and wanted to listen to some music, but all of the music was gone from it all of a sudden. I didn't do anything unusual to it beforehand, nor did I plug it into someone else's computer or anything like that. When I plugged it into my computer to try and re-sync all of my music back, it didn't work and somehow went into recovery mode. I've been trying to just restore it since there isn't much of value in there, but 'error 6' won't go away. I have updated my security programs and disabled my firewall, but it simply won't work no matter what I do. I've tried several programs that try to break recovery loops, but they won't work either.

I have both split reins and roping reins. I ride both English and Western. I do mostly Western and trail ride. I do like my spilt reins, but if I'm out on a trail in which I have to go under stuff I usually will end up tying them together. It is to easy to drop a rein. I don't like my reins seperate unless I'm showing or riding in a ring. What I do if I'm riding and have my reins split then I cross them over the neck. Right rein will fall off left side and left rein off right. It helps if you do drop a rein. Also it depends on the horse you are riding also. All my horses I trained to stop with a one rein stop. If your horse don't do this then I wouldn't recomend it. You can train your horse to do this before you get split reins. If you decide to get them anyway then I would work in a arena where you can practice.

Saddle problems...please help?

i have two horses and am having a heck of a time trying to find saddles for them. they are both quarter horses, both 15.2 hands high. i measured each of them with a tape measure just to get an idea of how similar they are and they both have roughly the same measurements around the girth and length of their back...the only difference is my gelding has higher withers. first of all, there are no tack stores anywhere around here and that also means no professional to come help me fit them. the previous owners of the house i bought left one saddle behind. i put the saddle on without being cinched and without a saddle pad to just see how it fit to the horses' backs. i placed the saddle 2 inches behind the shoulder blade on both horses. i stuck my hand under the saddle and ran my hand down the length of the saddle tree to see how it was fitting against their backs and it was putting a lot of pressure on my hand by their shoulders but as i ran my hand towards the back of the saddle, the saddle gradually got looser and looser to the point where it's not even touching either of the horse's sides at the back of the saddle. its just lifting up in the air without even being tightened down. does this mean the saddle tree is broken? or does this mean the saddle tree is too narrow? it's a western trail saddle and i have no idea what size gullet or saddle tree it has either.

Thoughts of the name Novalee? & middle name suggestions?

When I first saw the title I was like.. oh! that is from that movie with Natalie Portman! lol I like it. It is unique and quite beautiful actually. I dont think any of those middle names sound great with it though. It is a hard name to come up with a middle name for. What about taking her whole name in the movie? Novalee Nation? You don't need it, so don't do it.

Snowboard Bindings...Flow or Cinch?

if you are reffering to the k2 cinches I'd much rather get the cinches. i have them and they are really easy to use. once you get them adjusted they get into your foot in less than 15 seconds. the binding almost gets 180 degrees so you can get your foot in it. they are firm and they fit nice. Cinches definetly. go on dogfunk.com they have sales everyother day. there prices change everyday so when you feel like the price is low take it ASAP because it'll most likely change the next day. BTW i have the CTC cinches

On the back cinch of a lot of barrel saddles there's a little pocket that fastens closed..what is it for?? I was thinking for a knife, wire cutters, or a hoofpick, but that's not really anything you would use while barrel racing, more for trail. Any ideas??

What to do about a horse that is "cinchy"?

You might want to have a chiropractor look at her. My mare does this when she has a rib out, but a quick adjustment fixes her. She might also be remembering pain from a previous rib out or injury and she just reacts that way because she expects pain. When you tighten her cinch, put it tight enough so the saddle won't come off. Then do something else, like pick feet or brush mane and tail. Then tighten it a little more and do something else. And so on until it is tight.

My niece came down for the summer, to help out in the Joplin MO area as a volunteer, anyway. She has been riding my 10 year old Arabian Dameer. And I have noticed that like when she goes to pick out Dameer's hooves Dameer randomly starts flicking her tail, she did it some when I was picking her hooves but not like now. When my niece goes to cinch her up she flicks her tail even more, you'll walk behind her and its like she's literally trying to hit you with her tail same as cinching and picking out her hooves. I just got another dog and well he is a puller when i walk him, one thing that worked well was a nose lead, it had the normal collar part but it also has a part that goes around the nose (its not a muzzle though, he can still open his mouth) and that way instead of the presser being on the neck (which most dogs dont care about) the pressure from them pulling is on the nose, now Bentley doesnt pull anymore.

I think you're right in punishing her. To be honest I think you're still letting her stay up too late, when I was that age I was always in bed sleeping by 8 or 9pm at the very latest. Also I was a pretty stubborn kid (I'll admit) and my parents had to take me to counseling.

I recently lost my Luminox 3901 watch in a fairly small, but deep body of water. I jumped from a cliff and when I surfaced I noticed it was gone. I can't believe the band was able to come un-velcroed and out of the loop enough to come off my hand so quickly, but somehow it did. My girlfriend and I have been together for 10 months. in the beginning i was her "knight in shining armor". she loved everything about me. I met her right after a bad break up and was her saving grace. Though there was drama involving her ex for a while that isnt an issue anymore. I wasnt much for talking on the phone and i was a big texter, but being with her i have changed all that up. we would talk all the time and video chat on oovoo and i did everything to make sure she was happy. we started off going to school 3 and a half hours away from each other, but we saw each other every couple of weeks. She would drive down and I would drive up there (even though it was during basketball season). next year she is transferring to the same school as me because she said that the relationship wouldnt work with us being apart like that for much longer. now that it is summer, we were seeing each other a lot more. whenever she comes to my apartment i cook for her, take her out to eat, and even take her to a clothing store she likes. and i always ask her what is it that i can do better and she ALWAYS says that everything is great. now recently, things have gone south. she seems distant, and she wont let me know what is on her mind when i am positive something is wrong. her facebook status basically says that she is bored with the people around her and where she is in life, and she needs new people, new places, new faces, ect. I see this and ask whats wrong, and I get no response. I tell her if she doesn’t want to talk about it to just say so, if she needs space just say so, just keep me in the loop, and still nothing. obviously I assume the worst. I finally get her to tell me whats wrong (getting her to talk to me is like trying to squeeze water out of a rock). She said that I am not spontaneous enough for her. I like to plan things out and be structured and she likes to just wake up and do things. She said that she loves me, but she wants to do more, go places, etc. I am in summer school and during the week I am busy but I have weekends free. However instead of just TELLING me the problem she will just sit and not say anything. With all that said, I tell her I love her all the time, take her nice places, do nice things, treat her better than anyone has or ever will, the sex is good (and yes im sure she is not faking it), her parents adore me, I do everything right in my eyes. I even chose to stay at my apartment because there was a chance thatshe would be here instead of going on a road trip with my friends, yet she tells me that I made the wrong choice?? I play basketball and plan on going to dental school after I graduate so that I can become a dentist. So I am a pretty busy guy bbut any speck of free time I get is spent with her or about her. She wants to travel all over the place and she cant even afford it! She wants to go all these places and do all these things and she doesn’t even make more that $200 a week! I don’t get how you can want to travel but you don’t know how you are going to pay your room and board for the fall…it baffles me. Alright guys, I just bought this saddle at a local tack shop and I can't for the life of me figure out what brand it is. Wide feet ppl, are you stunned at the lack of choice of trainers in stores or online in the UK?

I am looking for places online (based in the UK) that have a selection of trainers ( either running style or skate) for people with wide feet and am genuinely shocked at the lack of options for us. There are a number of sites that have such a selection but the trainers look proper shite, not to mention expensive. I was wondering if there are others out there who feel the same way? I am 27 I like skate shoes and I like nikes, adidas and various other good looking trainers but I mostly buy etnies callicuts/ cinch type models because they are the only shoes I have found for about 10 years that fit well, last a long time, look good(to me) and are at a good price. This seems pretty poor to me in such a consumer conscience age that there are few options, am I that unusual??

the rope cinches or mohair tends to rot over time and could give your horse a fungus on his girth area...fleece is okay but the horses hair gets stuck in it and builds up pretty bad and is a pain to get out....NEOPRENE is definitely the way to go in my books...doesnt rot and unwanted hair can be removed with ease :) plus i think it looks nicer

Help me stop Rooted Android Boot Loop?

I have the Motorola Droid. It is rooted. It is currently in an endless pattern of freezing, shutting down, and rebooting. The "holding down 'x' " technique does not work. I don't know what to do after holding down the upper part of the D-Pad. I still don't really understand what flashing a ROM means. I don't understand how to follow others' instructions when it must be performed on a phone that is not constantly rebooting itself! Please help...with step by step instructions for the newbie!

I was watching this movie on directv and I can't remember the name of it, I never got to finish it. Ok what happened in the movie was that there was a man who spent like 10 minutes looking at himself in the mirror weilding a revovler, and then he put the gun in his pants loop and walked out, and I think the movie said that it was 1973 England, but the kid was in the I think VDF England, but anyway he went to another boys house afterwards and picked him up, and while this was going on these other 2 boys where trying to get into peoples cars, and then they got into an old muscle car, hotwired it, and picked the boy with the revovler and his friend up, and they parked somewhere and talked about they're first kill on some guy with the last name Griffin, I think it was Jimmy Griffin, but I doubt that was his first name, and then they went to his house and shot Griffin, through his window, 3 times in the head, and right in front of Griffins little brother who was kicking a soccer ball outside against the side of the concrete house over and over, and then the guy looked at the little brother and ran back into the muscle car and they drove off and went to a party after burning the car. And the little brothers mom blamed him for 33 years that it was his fault his brother died because he didn't stop the guy from killing his brother. And then 33 years after they killed him. The little brother and the man who killed him(after serving prision time for the murder) went to a castle for an interview for a TV segment about what happened that night. But the little brother(now a 40 year old man) planned on killing him for what he did to him and for killing his brother....thats all I saw....
