Help with my kin onem!!?

I got a new kin onem about 4 or 5 days ago for my upgrade. I turned it on when it was finished charging and activated it like normal but now i am noticing that it is missing a whole screen called "the loop" it doesnt appear on my screen at all and I havve no idea how to get to it. Also it is not connected to my facebook and I don't know how to do that either. I also do not have the little dot that is supposed to be on the bottom of the screen. I thought I had my phone figured out until I googled it and found out all the stuff it was missing! Please Help!!
