If i finish halo odst on easy then replay all missions on legendary do i get achievment for legendary?

i screwed up my save and i seriously cant be bothered replaying the entire three quarters of the game i finished. So i thought if i play on easy all the way thru the parts inbetween missions are a cinch and so are the missions and then i can replay them on legendary
