I have some western saddle questions...?

The gullet width tells you what bars are built in the saddle. That part of the saddle is supposed to rest on the shoulders, but the rest of the saddle must fit the back also. The center of the cinch should be as close to the middle of the chest as possible. Probably will not find a saddle fitter until you get to Ocala.
